Top edge of browser window
Hi,
When I installed Firefox the browser had a small edge at the top of the window, above the row of tabs, so that you can click, hold and drag the window to reposition. This is a pretty basic design element which allows you to move the window around by clicking and dragging.
For some reason, that small edge has now gone - the tabs extend to the very top of the browser/screen so that the only space on the window where I can click and drag the window is small square around the minimize/maximize/close icons in the top right corner.
Does anyone else have this problem?
It's a small thing but quite annoying because obviously I use two screens and move my Firefox browser around all the time. I just want the edge back so that I can manoeuver it more easily.
Thanks!

Could you attach a screenshot, to make your point clearer? I think I understand, but it would help :)
Somehow, the browser window was raised so that the edge is outside the viewing area. Have not seen that problem here in years.

Close Firefox. Open your file browser to this hidden location:
- Mac: *~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles
- Linux: *~/.mozilla/firefox/Profiles
- Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
- *C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
- Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data

Search for the above files. Then rename or delete them. Restart Firefox.
