Recently Closed Tabs saved even during private browsing! Is that ok or it should be fixed?!
Hello, I'm using the latest version of Firefox (59) and I've got a problem. While using private browsing, I realized that if I click on Library -> history -> Recently Closed Tabs, the browser will show me the sites I visited in that session but it shouldn't, cause it's private browsing (which is always enabled)!! Is there a way to prevent mozilla from showing the Recently Closed Tabs while on private browsing session?! Is that a bug?! Or by using about:config (or another menu) I can change it?! Thanks.

That is OK. You can check that by starting Firefox normally and open a New Private Window. Close and open some tabs in the regular window and do the same in the Private Browsing mode window. You will see that in both cases only tabs from a specific mode are shown in "History -> Recently Closed Tabs".
Is there a way to prevent mozilla from doing that?! I think it's quite annoying. If not, is it possible to add an option for that?!
There are prefs to set how many tabs you can reopen, but this a a 'global' setting and effects regular and PB mode windows.
- browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo
- browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
Unless you never close a tab accidentally, I suggest you set browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo to at least 1.
That's not bad.... May I set it to zero or the softwate might get crazy?! Could I suggest to add an option like that only for Private Browsing?! Or is there a way to solve this "problem" once and for all?!
I think you can set those preferences to zero if you like. I don't think Firefox will go crazy.
Do you want Firefox to save Back and Forward history in the tabs you have open? There's a separate preference for that:
browser.sessionhistory.max_entries => default value is 50
