Shift key in some text field (mostly password) behave as "select all"
In some of the text fields (most of the password, but some other fields too) when I hit the Shift Key, it select all the text. So I cannot use uppercase letter.
Same problem occurs with rigth and left shift key.
I'm using Firefox 59.0.2, qith Ubuntu 16.04.
It's a new computer, so it never worked. I tried to restart in Safe mode, to refresh, to re-install firefox.
Still the same problem.
No problem with Chrome or other applications.
It really look like these problems, but I have no solution: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1194501 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1175155 https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/7jdmll/firefox_57_issue_shift_key_deleting_text/

Hi, so you tried Safe Mode as per questions/1175155 and compiling a new install as per questions/1194501 and tried the suggestions in Reddit ?
What about doing a REFRESH, INSTRUCTIONS Hi, please try a Refresh but Note that this does more than uninstalling and re-installing does. Normal uninstalling does not remove some preferences which may have become corrupt. Please Refresh but do this 1st: Delete your Cookies and Cache and TEST.
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles
then
TEST....... If no issues then Extensions which need to be added back in 1 at a time and tested ..... Or it is your Profile : Make a new one and test ...:
If is your Profile :

Note: Any customization will revert back to default, you will also need to reinstall Extensions.
