When I use control-A to select text, there is a small delay before I can delete it; I cannot find a setting to remove this delay
I recently migrated from chrome to firefox with the quantum release. In quantum, there is a small delay between when I select a field of text with CTRL-A and when I am able to delete it. I assume that this is a deliberate feature, but there is no way of disabling it that I have been able to find. How would I be able to immediately delete a selected field?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
