How to remove this item that has been blocked for your protection
Firefox will not recognize Flash Player, It says that I have and old edition but even according to Firefox I have the latest edition when I look at plugins. I have to go to MSN to look at those videos. Also, when I go to update some plug-ins, it says that the site is blocked and will not let me update (Adobe PDF, QuickTime Plugin, RealPlayer Download plugin and Silverlight plugin).
Thanks for any help.

Occasionally this problem is due to having more than one Flash plugin. Could you check here: type or paste about:plugins in the address bar and press Enter to load it. Use Find (Ctrl+f) to search in the page for npswf which is the beginning of the plugin file name. Do you find only the current release [NPSWF32_22_0_0_209.dll] or other versions as well?
QuickTime for Windows is obsolete. You can use the VLC player to replace it. See: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Regarding other sites being blocked, could you describe that message in more detail: is it a warning page, or what exactly?
To update the Adobe Acrobat (PDF) plugin, I suggest this method: open your stand-alone Adobe product (Acrobat or Reader) and use its Help menu to Check for Updates. When the program updates, it will automatically update the plugin. However, to avoid a possible locked file issue, you may need to exit out of Firefox while installing the update.
