Why will the screen not stay full screen when surfing the net? I have looked online but most people are taking about watching videos. I have this issue just looking through forums and when selecting next forum. Am tired of hitting F11 to get it to go back to full screen mode. Was hoping as updates were being made it would fix this. Still nothing. My old system running XP was stable and stayed full screen unless I was the one who made it go to normal size. Running Win 7 Pro and has been an issue since going to this.

Thanks

Todd

Is this when going from one web page to another in the same window?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

I will try it for a bit and see if it helps. Same window being used. Just going to another site. Sometimes stays full screen. Other times the tabs appear on the screen at the top. Once you cycle the F11 key. Than it goes away. Until you either go to another forum or watch a video that has the site in the background running. The video you exit out of but the site will have to be cycled again with the F11 key. Mainly just going through reading the forums and no videos being watched or anything out of ordinary.

Thanks for help. Will let you know how it turns out.

I just noticed the link was for a newer update. I have version 43. But has been doing this since I went to this system before 39 version. Will try the update first than your recommendation on the SAFE MODE

Well.. no go on it. Still does it. Even deselect hide tabs and than reselect it. Disappear until I leave the current page and select another site. Than tabs stay on top again. Newest update was installed and still has no effect. Wonder if Win7 has something to do with it. Never had an issue in my XP had drive that I still slide in and use sometimes.
