Hi there, I had to get a new lap-top and i synched the settings from my old Mozilla to this new lap-top. It synched quite a lot of stuff; however, on this new lap-top the Bookmarks etc are all to the top right of the screen but i really need the to be on the left like it was before. Is there a way to move them across to my left? I saw 1 other person asked this question but i did not understand the answer there. The old lap top said it was Mozilla 34.0.5 This new one has the latest download. I'm wondering if that is the reason the settings have moved over to the right? Be really grateful if someone can tell me asap how to move them back to the left! I only have basic pc knowledge! thanks so much

It sounds like you're looking for the bookmarks sidebar. Try clicking on the bookmarks icon in your toolbar (the button just to the right of the star), and selecting "View bookmarks sidebar".

If this isn't what you're after, and you just want to move the bookmarks button, you can do this by right-clicking on the same button and selecting "Customise". Once you've done that, you can drag the button to wherever you'd like it on the toolbar, and confirm the change by clicking the green "Exit customise" at the bottom-right of the Firefox window.

{ Ctrl + B } opens and closes the Bookmarks Sidebar, too.
