Cannot play/view content correctly on a particular website
I use the website: member.russianaccelerator.com to learn Russian. I can play a video but cannot pause it. Audio files give the error: "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt." I think these are flash based videos but not 100% sure. If I try Google Chrome, I can view all the content correctly(videos play/pause correctly, audio works fine).
It would be easier to simply use Chrome but I feel that maybe bringing attention to this might help improve Firefox in some way. I appreciate everyone who has provided support and assistance to the community, in the past, and the present. If anyone feels up to the challenge, please help me resolve this. Thanks

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;
Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?
If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:
- see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers

- disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

Hi Fred. Thanks for your help! I started Firefox in safemode with addons disabled. I didn't need to turn off hardware acceleration because the above step fixed the problem. I exited firefox and reopened and the videos/audio works fine now. Addons/extensions appear to all be enabled.
So I think the problem is fixed. Thank you very much :)
Well, as long as it works. Happy Holidays.
