This only started happening recently. Mail that I want to receive and have been receiving normally in my inbox, has all of a sudden started going straight to my trash. This only happens to some of my incoming mail. The selection of mail that goes to the trash seems random. There are no filters to block or move any of the senders of these emails. Why is this happening, and how can I get it back to normai?

If I remove TB to reinstall it later, would I lose my saved messages, addresses and everything I have on it?

I use a PC, running Win. 7 SP1. Thanks for your reply! Taruno

Got a spam filter in your anti virus? Might be an idea to turn it off.

I don't have any spam filters, so I suspected a corrupted preference file. I'm on a Mac and I couldn't figure out which file was corrupted, so I ended up removing Thunderbird, reinstalling and re-setting up all my accounts and preferences... Tedious work but It's all good now.
