After I upgraded to firefox 27.0.1 I noticed that ajax requests on the website I'm developing changed from status 304 to status 200.

I also tested on a second pc which was still on firefox 26, ajax requests worked (status 304), then upgraded to firefox 27.0.1 and again the ajax requests were not cached.

I also tried normal (non-ajax) requests, these worked correctly on 27.0.1

Hi andco42,

Thank you for posting your question in Mozilla support. If you can provide two examples of websites that are using the same method you are experiencing this in and filing a bug in bugzilla with what you are seeing, we can find some answers.

First: Does this happen on other browsers? Was there any changes to your ajax before the 27.01 update?

Writing a bug is pretty easy - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Firefox If you have any questions please post back and we are happy to help.
