Why wont my firefox allow me to click certain links such as facebook buttons or google search options in the header?

buttons in the header such as images, videos, shopping, etc. from google or the news, messages, and friend requests buttons on facebook are no longer available for me to click, why is this and how can i change it

Perform the suggestions mentioned in the following articles:
- Make sure you are using the "Remember History" setting as described in this article -> Settings for privacy, browsing history and do-not-track
- Clear Cookies & Cache
- Clear the Network Cache
Check and tell if its working.
