firefox 10.0.2 crashes
Firefox 10.0.2 keeps crashing at random times, sometimes several times in one day. I'm never on the same website twice when it dies. I'm including the last 3 crash reports. I run Windows XP SP3, on a VAIO desktop.
I also usually run iTunes while Firefox is open. I do this on other computers as well, but this is the only one that FF is crashing on.

Hey stephil,
Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "shift" while Firefox is starting up. If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
There is also a lot of useful stuff in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) Knowledge Base article. If you've recently upgraded, you might want to check out this article as well.
Hopefully this helps!
Hi stephil,
Presumably you read firefox crashes as you have included Crash IDs. I do not understand them and will have to leave that to someone else.
( It is currently number 2 top crasher for firefox 10.0.2 behind the usual topcrash category empty signature, it could be one of those with multiple causes, but I am sure it is being investigated.)
Sorry I am unable to help.

Worth trying in safe mode and with all plugins disabled it could help. You could also find for instance it is related to certain websites or malware.
If I use Firefox in Safe Mode I can't do any work; I need the add-ons I have. This computer is at work; I can't just sit around and surf. I've gone through all the articles, done all the updates they said to do and it's still crashing. Need some help here.
Safe mode is a useful troubleshooting strategy. Not everyone crashes in Firefox and it could be caused by one of your software extensions you should rule that out as a matter of urgency by using safe mode and pasting into your next message a couple of the Crash IDs you then get.
