Every time after I reboot OS X, Firefox has forgotten the 1Password add-on. I download the add-on and install it once again, and all is well for that session, but after a reboot the same thing recurs.

Hi jav919-

I would recommend upgrading to Firefox 8, here: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

This site http://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/legacy_versions.html offers legacy versions of 1Password. Hope one or both of those help!

Thanks.

I had an email exchange with 1Password support. They were aware of the problem. They told me a couple of work-arounds and I sent them a bunch of logs. I don't know if that helped, but I no longer have the problem after upgrading to Firefox 8.0 and 1Password 3.8.10.

Incidentally, I read on a news group that Firefox is considering making updates automatic. I sent them an email reporting the problem they had created with 1Password, and telling them if they install an automatic update that kills 1Perfect there must be an easy way to back out the update and block it.
