Firefox would not start, shut down computer and restarted. After restart, the task bar shows "Norton" under the back/forward arrows and now the system is extremely slow and many things time out before loading. I do not use Norton for this reason, I use AVG, I also did not authorize that Norton be downloaded to my computer and request that you send an update to remove it from my computer and/or send me detailed instructions on how to get rid of it as I can not locate the removal page. Also include how to remove ALL of the Norton stuff as they have a reputation of slowing computers and now they have to resort to sneaking in the programs. No one wants them.

Thanks in advance, Jimmy

Sorry, that didn't come from Mozilla.

Since that is a Toolbar in Firefox, see this:

Thanks for the reply, I was able to hide the Norton addition to the toolbar, but still would like to know how to get rid of anything Norton on my computer. If you have any advice, it will be appreciated.

Thanks again, Jimmy
