403 Forbidden, MAC - Switched phone companies, now can't access /www.online-sweepstakes.com. Been a member since 2002, never had a problem before.
get a 403 Forbidden error, plus "You don't have permission to access / on this server." Been able to access this site for 8 years. Problem started when I switched from ATT to SureWest - but SureWest says it isn't their problem.

caution: I'm not very computer savvy. I'm using Firefox, and there is no "Options" under my tools, just websearch, downloads, addons, error console, page info, start private browsing, clear recent history. When I put in the address under error console, I get this: Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE) [nsIWebNavigation.loadURI]" nsresult: "0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://global/content/viewSource.js :: viewSource :: line 221" data: no] I also have 48 browser shots (though don't really know what that means). Thanks in advance for trying to help
Sorry. On Mac it is: "Clear the Cache": Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now" "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies" --- Menu differences: Windows: Tools > Options - Mac: Firefox > Preferences - Linux: Edit > Preferences
Did both. Alas, still having problems. Very frustrating cause SureWest (internet/phone) and the site both say its not at their ends. Thanks for your ideas - if you have any more, would appreciate them!

thanks for another avenue. Unfortunately, most the ideas on that link aren't for MACS. * sigh * - its a bit frustrating. But thanks again for trying.
