How can I fix the Crash Reporter that is not allowing me to enter Firefox browser?

more options

I had turned on my computer and opened firefox. my homepage loaded and then froze. I CTRL-ALT-DEL to end the process and restart it. When I went to restart it I get the Crash Reporter. Not the usual one but one that only states... "this application is run after a crash to report the problem to the application vendor. It should not be run directly." In an attempt to run Firefox in Safe Mode I get a message that reads... " The application had problem and crashed. Unfortunately the Crash Reporter is unable to submit a report for this crash. Details: the application passed an invalid arguement." Can any of you help me get back into Firefox?

Hello Jeremy C,

please get me a Firefox crash report ID (a report ID normally starts with bp-) by following the instructions mentioned in the Firefox crashes when you open it article.

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards, Tobbi Firefox Support Volunteer
