Hi - I just reset my PC and trying to restore Firefox. I saved the default release folder (qejikze4.default-release-1669319412153) which contains the latest bookmarks in the "bookmarkbackups" folder. I tried to just replace the bookmark file in the new install (how I previously transfered them), but I can't find the files in the latest V.120 version. Any suggestions on how I can do it?

Thanks

Peter

Note that you need profiles.ini or otherwise register a copied profile by editing profiles.ini or by creating a new profile and use "Choose Folder" to let Firefox use this profile.

You can restore a recent backup from the bookmarkbackups folder to get the bookmarks stord in the backup.

You can copy certain files with Firefox closed from one profile folder to the current profile folder to recover your personal data. Note that best is to avoid restoring a full profile folder and only restore important files that are safe to restore/transfer.
