Firefox hangs up on win7
This problem started around version 97 (i had a break from computer and went back at v 97) but older versions still had that problem after i revert to it. i did:
- turned hardware acceleration and recommended settings off
- cleared cache and profile few times
- offline and safe mode
- restarting and reinstalling for few times
- installing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022 (vc_redist.x64.exe).
still hangs up.
it sometimes opens after i restarted,what can cause this?

You can create a new profile as a quick test to see if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Deleted all profiles and created one from scratch. Problem still occurs.Still freezes as i open.
What security software are you running? I just update to 100 on Win7 and no issues. see screenshot Have you tried logging into another Windows account to see if it has the same issue? Have you tried Windows in Safe Mode?

it temporarly fixes after restarting computer,but after few restarts,it hangs again,so opening safe mode is hard since i dont know if it is fixed by safe mode or restart
