Why Firefox is Keep Using BandWidth and What It Keep Sending to Uknown Place?
I have Ubuntu 18.04.3 installed (a fresh install in this September). I have noticed my data package is being consumed too much. When I started to probe I came to know that Firefox is using too much bandwidth. Almost 1GB in 2-3 hours.
I then started to track the live consumption of the bandwidth using `nethogs` and found until the Firefox is opened it keep sending hundreds of bytes every second.
I am shocked to see why such famous browser is doing such odd things? I tried to search about it that why and what this browser keep sending but found no clue.
Can anyone please help how to stop Firefox sending data and eating up bandwidth? It is eating up my limited bandwidth :-(
- Note:** I have purge the Firefox and no account is attached to the browser and there is no extension on installed on it but it is keep uploading/sending data to "unknown" destination. :-(
Any help please?
