incorrect font in mozilla firefox
hi,
I've installed at my w7 64bits the last available version of Mozilla Firefox 64bits. the font of the almost all websites visited appears with little boxes.
I've uninstalled the app, I've deleted the Mozilla folders in the profile and the programs then I've reinstalled the app with the same result.
Could someone could help us?
Thanks in advance.

You can right-click and select "Inspect Element" to open the builtin Inspector with this element selected. You can check the font used for selected text in the Font tab in the right pane of the Inspector. You may have to click the overflow arrow to access the Font tab.
We have seen cases where such boxes are displayed that might be related to using a Last Resort font that displays all the glyphs with one same character.
You can set this pref to 1 (or 0 in case 1 doesn't have effect) on the about:config page to lower the sandbox security setting.
- security.sandbox.content.level = 1
- close and restart Firefox to make the change effective.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.

Note : As this issue will be fixed in Firefox 57, don't forget to change the value back to its default of '3'.

It solved the problem. Many thanks for your great support.
This specific font issue is only fixed for Mac in special cases. The OP posted with a Windows computer, so it is likely still happening in Firefox 57.

At least the OP will know that, when it is fixed, the value needs to be changed back - which is a good thing, right ?
