Firefox crashes at startup every time I try to open it.

Every time I open Firefox, it immediately crashes, regardless of whether I am opening it in safe mode or not. I have run my malware and virus protection programs and nothing was found. I ran "sfc /scannow" and it did not find any problems. I tried to lookup my crash report ID but nothing was found. I am hoping someone here may be able to help me.

Note, this seems odd but it seems that Microsoft Edge is now working as my default browser. I did not make this change so I am not sure if this could have something to do with my problem, but I just wanted to throw that out there in case it helps.

If there is any suggestions for fixing this problem, please help explaining how to change any features without being able to open the program. Thanks

hi, this seems to be some sort of conflict between your eset security software and malwarebytes anti-exploit, both hooking into the firefox process - can you test if the crashes cease when you uninstall one of the two programs from your system?

Yes, that fixed the problem. I have been using a program called Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit which runs in the background of any browser that is in use. I Left Eset and Malwarebytes but removed the Anti-Exploit program and it worked. Thank you very much for your help on this!!!!
