TB crashes on startup between 3-15x EVERY startup
This has been going on ever since I updated from old version of TB (more than a year ago). Have Crash Reporter on, and for a while, also made a comment accompanying report, along with the contact me option. No one has ever helped. I have literally thousands of reports that have been submitted. Would like some help, please. This is the latest, though there were 10 others from today as well.

You get the idea... It appears that the problem is much worse when I have sent a message prior to opening TB, whether that message was sent from my cell phone app, or from TB on my computer.
It appears to fail to completely load the messages. Then crashes.
I would not be surprised if there is some legacy file from a previous version of TB that is causing all of this. I have emails in this application from more than 15 years ago, originally imported from a paid version of Eudora.
TB was actually doing much better, and not failing on startup nearly so often with recent versions, but seems to have gotten MUCH worse again, ever since the last update.

The bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=541963 i see listed for that first crash suggests to try disabling the new mail arrival sound.

Matt, Thanks so much! The bug report seems indecipherable to me, but I'm thankful that isn't so for you! This is a really big deal for me, with so many crashes daily, I was ready to ditch the program entirely. No crashes for a week, I think you nailed it!
