Why is the date of all received emails 24 hours behind the actual date sent?
All of the dates/times of received e-mails seem to indicate the correct time they were sent but the date is routinely a day earlier. My computer time is properly set and files are correctly date-stamped. Is there a way to reset the date in Thunderbird?

Thunderbird uses your computer system clock. The time might be showing correct on your computer. What about the time zone?
Thanks Airmail, but my clock, time zone and date are all correctly set. In fact, they are synced to the Internet. Yet your e-mail notice was sent "yesterday" according to Thunderbird (i.e. you sent it on the 12th; Thunderbird says the 11th).
