I see no way to change my sync options, and my computers are not syncing

I have two Macs, both have the Mozilla 29.0.1 installed. I added Sync on my older computer, then signed in on the second computer...and nothing is syncing. I can get to the control panel which gives me the option to check boxes with what I would like to sync, but nothing ever does between them.

I have read many troubleshooting articles over the past couple weeks trying to find my particular problem, but nothing is solved yet. Many articles say that when you set up your sync, it gives you the option to overwrite your computer's sync data, merge it, etc. I don't remember ever seeing either device prompt me with this question when I set up sync, and I see no way to get it to ask me again or to change that setting should I want to in the future.

When I click on the upper right Menu>Preferences>Sync every check box is checked on both devices. I click on "Manage" and it opens a new tab which tells me I am signed in as *myaccountaddress* and only gives me two options: change my password or delete my account. No way to do anything else.

What am I supposed to do here to get this working?

Hi TribalDancer, You have correctly set up Sync it sound like. However may I ask how you are confirming that the two devices are syncing?

For example, have you tried to bookmark a new page, put it in a bookmark folder and gone to the second computer, relaunch Firefox and look for that bookmark? Or have you gone to a site and save a new password and see the password stored in the password manager under the Firefox Preferences?

If so, and the books marks are not there with in the hour or so, can you please try the following: -Please make sure places.sqlite was not corrupted by checking if history is stored in the History manager. -Are there any add ons that are on one comp and not the other? -What is not syncing?

How do I turn on sync logs:'
  1. Open about:config and turn on: services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess and services.sync.log.logger.engine.bookmarks
  2. Restart Firefox and look at: about:sync-log
  3. Logs and error messages will be located here, are there any error lines that you notice right away?
