What are the names of the add-ons and are they extensions or plugins?

One is Java Console 6.0.25 and I don't think it's a necessary add-on (as in needed for Firefox) in Extensions. I think it came with a set of stuff I was doing for a job.

The other one is RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin 14.0.3 in Extensions. Plus, there's a whole bunch of other RealPlayer ones in the Plugins list.

1) You can uninstall all Java Console extensions from the Firefox Extensions list, since this extension is obsolete and has no function. If the "Remove" button for the Java Console extension is inactive or "greyed-out", exit Firefox, reopen Firefox from the context (right-click) menu "Run as Administrator" option, then try again. If this doesn't work, you can also manually remove unwanted extensions by opening the installation directory "extensions" folder and deleting the associated subfolder (e.g., to uninstall the Java Console 6.0.25 extension, open the C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\extensions\ folder and delete the "{CAFEEFAC-0016-0000-0025-ABCDEFFEDCBA}" subfolder). 2) The RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension can be removed from Firefox by opening RealPlayer, going to "Tools -> Preferences -> Download & Recording" and unchecking the option, "Enable Web Download & Recording". Removing the RealPlayer plugin is another story. Either just disable or see Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems to manually remove. You can also uninstall the RealPlayer program itself, if you don't use it - see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Uninstall-or-change-a-program for help with that.

On the Java Console, I got rid of it by deleting the file in the extensions folder. That worked easily. Good to know it is obsolete.

I got rid of the RealPlayer extension too. This is the order for anyone else as it took me a moment to figure it out - In RealPlayer, click the down arrow key in the top left corner - Preferences - Download & Recording - uncheck Enable Web Download & Recording for these installed browsers: Mozilla Firefox 5.0, Windows Internet Explorer 9.00, Google Chrome 12.0 - Click OK.

You'll have to Restart FF to see them gone.

I'll work on those Plugins later.

As far as the Plugins, I got rid of them by following these directions provided at the link you gave:

Manually uninstalling a plugin

If you can't use an uninstaller program to remove a plugin, you can remove it manually:

   In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter.
       The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear. Click I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue to the about:config page. 
   Search for the preference: plugin.expose_full_path.
   Double-click on the plugin.expose_full_path preference in the list to change the value to true.
   Enter about:plugins into the Location bar to display the About Plugins page.
   Each entry in the About Plugins page will have "File name:" followed by a path. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the folder shown for the plugin you want to remove.
   Rename the file to something other than its normal name - e.g. npswf32 becomes Xnpswf32 

The plugin will be removed.

I have an Add-on that just showed uninvited and it has no remove button. It is called FBPhotoZoom, but I am not sure if it is the actual add-on. When I searched this, there was a FB Photo Zoom, that I installed and uninstalled with no problems, but this one remained.

This is about the comment you posted about not being able to remove the "FBPhotoZoom 1.3 By Install Daddy" add-on from Firefox because there is no "Remove" button.
