Tracker blocking precedence with Ghostery vs Firefox tracker detection

I have Ghostery installed and when going to a website the list of trackers Ghostery blocks shows up in the status block that Ghostery projects onto that web page. Then going to the security shield icon that Firefox has next to the 'Home' icon on the address bar, Firefox reports 'No trackers known to Firefox were detected on this page'.

Can someone explain the order of precedence for detecting and blocking trackers here? Does Ghostery intercept the web page load before Firefox analyzes the page for trackers? If Ghostery blocks trackers is this the reason Firefox does not detect trackers?

Running Firefox 104.0.2 on Windows 10 Pro - latest installed patches as of 9/21/22.

And finally does Ghostery (not running Ghostery Plus) keep a list of web URL and blocked trackers somewhere?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Extensions first get the chance to inspect what to block and Firefox ETP is the last in that chain. This means that Firefox won't see content blocked by an extension and you would have to disable all content blocking extensions to check out what Firefox ETP detects.
