Incorrect password when trying to create a new Recovery Key
I changed the email address for my Firefox Account today, which involved entering my password. The password was not recognized, despite having been used without any problems in the past, and being stored unchanged in my password manager.
I managed to reset the password using my Recovery Key, logged in with it successfully, then tried to create a new Recovery Key to replace the now obsolete one. The process failed at the first step, however, claiming an incorrect password. I reset once more, again logged in with it successfully, and yet again I get an incorrect password error when trying to generate a new Recovery Key.
Obviously the password is working fine as I've successfully used it to log into this Support forum.
What could be the issue here?

Can you login to the Firefox account via this web page?
Indeed I can sign into my Firefox account with those two links, as can I sign into this very support forum.
Does that allow to create the recovery key ?
Creating a new recovery key may require a fresh login to accounts.firefox.com and might not work if you try this from within Firefox Sync settings.
