After applying the 66.0.4 update, Firefox now won't connect to most websites. Sometimes, completely rebooting my system will fix it, but that's not a guarantee. I also updated all of my add-ons (Ublock Origin and Ghostery) Ghostery, though, seems to be completely broken even though it was updated.

Additionally, after applying the 66.0.4 update, I lost close to 10 gig of space on my hard drive, which I can only assume was somehow eaten up by Firefox, since that was the only change made to my system.

Hi, I am having a similar problem with no connection to websites. Please see if disabling then re-enabling uBlock Origin allows you to connect. Do not restart Firefox until you have tested the connection, because I find doing that, requires you to do the same thing again!

Edit: I have now discoverd that in my case this was caused by previously setting browser.tabs.remote.autostart and browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 to False in about:config to turn off multiprocess. So if you have done that, right click > Reset then restart Firefox. Prior to v66.0.4 there was no problem, so I have no idea as to why that now interferes with uBlock Origin and prevents connection to the internet.
