No sound on Firefox. Sound ok on other apps. I have tried the troubleshooting suggestions and disabled plugins, cleared cache, refreshed Firefox, re-installed, installed flash. Any suggestions much appreciated. Using Chrome which works fine, but would like to switch back to Firefox.

Same issue with 66.0.4

Firefox uses PulseAudio since Firefox 46.0 and later as 45.0 and earlier used ALSA.

It may be possible that audio is getting muted on your system. When I use say TVtime to watch Tv in a window and then close it, it sometimes mutes the volume of system and I have to unmute it.

Also make sure the volume on youtube html5 player is not muted or low. You may likely have checked this already.

There is a possibility of trying to use apulse if you do not want to make use of PulseAudio.

It was all working up until a few days ago when I suspect the Firefox 66.0.3 update occurred. I have attached the pulseaudio info. Not sure if it looks ok though. https://pastebin.com/uC4ccNYe
