How big is your inbox? How many messages are filtered to other folders?
Well, my older version of Thunderbird could handle 24000 emails in my INBOX, after Christmas I have reduced to 6200 emails. Cleaned all my folders from old emails. Now INBOX size is 4,6 GB. SENT emails 1,8 GB with 14000 emails. TRASH was 0,8 GB, but now 0,0 GB, just cleaned. Before Christmas we had 10GB inbox /4GB sent and it was OK.
Problems came with version 60.5.0. from last week.
But I have noticed if I let the maintenance of the folders to be finished since that time I had 5 days till the next needed restart.
When the apple ball is rotating too much, it is the sign that something is slowing down.
imap or pop accounts?
Unbelievable! Just now I had to restart again Thunderbird!!!! Today morning I had to restart too. Since morning all was running well and now suddenly nothing. I send enclosed a screenshot too that Thunderbird is not responding.
Today at 11:27 CET again restart!!! Thunderbird stops working. Photo is enclosed.
Would help to reinstall Thunderbird????? What is the newest version for slovak language? Or any recommended older but good running version????? and I stop updates for 1-2 months?
imap or pop accounts?
Is there a specific reason your Inbox is so large, that you cannot move messages to other folders?
It was no problem before, size of the Inbox!!! Why is it a problem now. There is no specific reason, I just prefer to have more emails on one place but 6500 can not be so much when 24000 was OK before. To replace emails to another folder would be a very poor solution.
Problem is still on. Thunderbird stops working without any reason!!! Has anybody any idea to solve it?????????
What happens if you run TB while OS X is in safe mode?
I will see with next apple restart, ..... if I do not forget it. Now I am updating 60.5.0 to 60.5.1. Is there a chance it will help?
