I can see that RSS articles are rendered "human readably" by default. Is there a stylesheet or JS file where I can customise this?
I see that the RSS feed (XML) has many more fields that are not visible in the default rendering. I want to know if there's any way I can modify the rendering JS script or XSLT to my liking?

You can build your own RSS read, but it is very complex and requires a lot of programming languages to parse the feed. You can use the Firefox read to view RSS feeds or you can explore other third party RSS readers.
You can find some more information about the Firefox RSS read in this Mozilla support article:
If you are interested, Thunderbird has a very good RSS feed reader.
Thanks for replying Wesley!
I remember reading somewhere that many versions back, there was an under-the-hood JS file that controlled the rendering of RSS feeds. Do you know if that is still around?
I'd like to exhaust this option before moving to other RSS readers :)
I was unable to locate any internal files that are used to render RSS feeds in Firefox.
Feel free to check out these RSS readers that can be added to Firefox. It was also suggested that you might be able to use Stylish to modify the styling of RSS feed content in Firefox.
If you are looking to use Stylish, you may want to check this out because it appears to modify the RSS feeds, so you might be able to apply more styles using this.
Sorry.
