How can I synchronize tasks on my local machine with google?
Is it possible and if so how to synchronize tasks I create in Thunderbird Lightning on my local pc, with online tasks on google?

I gave you a link to google task sync use it. This is a support forum, not a general chat forum so we like to close topic ASAP.
Lightning synchronization is discussed here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-lightning-google-calendar?esab=a&s=lightning&r=3&as=s and it works fine for calendar items.
Tasks are more difficult as there is no standard of what a task is, so synchronizing tasks to Google, yahoo and Hotmail would require three programs and another for every other service that is supported. That is simply a maintenance nightmare that I for one would want to have nothing to do with.

But sync with lightning is not possible as far as I know
So if it's not possible to sync Lightning with google, can anyone recommend some PIM style plugin for Thunderbird please? I just don't want to have to back up or lose my task list when I'll have to do fresh install of the Thunderbird. Like today, I have to do fresh W7 install due to the HDD faliure. I've beeen forgetting to back up my email client, beside I set up gmail the way that I can download all my mails from them. I do like functionality of MS Outlook, but since license for this software is expensive, I choosed Thunderbird. Any PIM or "outlooky style" plugin for Thunderbird you can recommend?
