When running some Pogo games that use Java and that allow keyboard input (crossword cove, Boggle Bash), the game does not respond to keyboard input.

I discovered that in Crossword cove, if I type 2 letters very quickly, the first one appears in the square on the crossword.

Java applet plugin version 7 update 09

On Mac OS, Java 7 update 9 (build 1.7.0_09-b05)

Mac OS 10.8.2

How can this be fixed?

You mentioned that this didn't work in Firefox 16 either. Did it work in Firefox 15? If so, this might be a bug in Firefox. Otherwise, it's more likely that this is an issue with Java. If you could report back what happens when you try to install Firefo 15, that would be awesome.

You can download it from here: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/15.0.1/ (note: don't stay on this version as it is not updated with the latest security patches. only use it for testing purposes!)

I tried version 15 of firefox as suggested. The problem remains the same.

Also, I upgraded to Java 7.10 and the problem remains the same.

I have upgraded to Firefox 19 and Java 7.15. The problem exists. I deinstalled Java 7 and went back to Java 6, there was no input problem. This problem does not exist with Safari under any version of Java. This seems to be unique to Firefox (any version) and Java 7.xx.
