I downloaded FF4 and only see a Google search bar. How do I get beyond this page to the browser page?

Having downloaded FF4 several times I always am taken to the same page. Google search bar. There are a few 'lesson cartoons' to watch, but never any instructions on how to bring up the FF browser page?? What step am I missing?

I'm not quite sure I understand your question. If you already have a web address you want to go to, just type it in location bar at the top and hit Enter.

I hope I can make my problem clearer. Let's say for the moment I want to open IE8. I hit the IE8 icon and walla. There is my home page, Yahoo with the news and so forth. That was the way that Firefox 3.x would open. Click the FF icon and there is my home page. My 1 year old HP computer just got back from the warranty shop with a new hard drive. The old one had a hardware flaw. It was necessary to download FF. Since I have Windows7 [64 bit] I opted for aFF4 download. When FF4 was loaded the opening screen was a white sheet with the FF logo and a Google search bar. Below the search bar was a info box asking if I wished to go to a sort of preview of FF4. I went there. There was nothing there that told me how to get to a home page!? I'm missing a step here I'm sure, but can't seem to get past the Google search bar page.

Thank You! The step I missed was going to the 'Home' icon and dropping the Yahoo.com icon in it. As simple as this solution now seems, getting past the Google search bar page is not made as clear as it should be. I stumbled on the Home Page issue just moments before I read your response. Thank You again.
