Emailing via the "contact us" item on a website doesn't work and leads to a constant stream of 'untitled' pages going acroos the screen so that i have to reboot to stop it
If i click on 'contact us' on a website or try to click on an email address given in a website i don't get taken to my email page (windows live) but get a stream of 'untitled' pages going across the bar at the top. I can't usually close these down and usually have to reboot. Anyone know how to fix this? It's always done it. I'm a windows 7 user.
This happened
Every time Firefox opened
== it's always done it

You can look at the network.protocol-handler.external.mailto prefs on the about:config page. If network.protocol-handler.external.mailto prefs are user set (bold) then right-click and Reset them to the default value.
You can also try to change the network.protocol-handler.warn-external.mailt pref to true. --- To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
