hello, all the help articles for blocking a website say to use an addon, but I think the latest Firefox doesn't allow most addons so I can't find one. I want to block a specific website to help break a bad news habit. Any ideas how? delete Firefox?;)

thank you

Hi

Honestly, the best way to do this is speak to your internet or telephony service provider. They should be able to put a block in place on any website that will be far more effective than any add-on.

oh don't need to go to all of that. interesting thought though. just trying to block the reflex of typing it in. I just don't want to go to the report anymore and be inundated with clock bait! would rather read a respectable newspaper.

I can appreciate and understand that.

There is one way that this can be done through an add-on. You would need to be using the Nightly version of Firefox for Android and I would need to know the website so that I can build an add-on that will block it.

This does kind of fall outside the normal realms of user support so you probably should contact me directly (click on my user name to access my profile and send me a message), but happy to help.
