Hello, since years, Thunderbird has got a problem: Names but no Email Addresses are Displayed. So it is for example possible, that someone with mailaddress "daily-virus-spam1000@virus-dangerous.com" is displayed in the Inbox as "Amazon Customer Service". I cannot see the true senders address whithout opening that mail, which I normally would delete suddenly. The only solution has been to load the addon "show address only" 0.2.0, which unfortunately is not working anymore with Thunderbird Version 78. I think, it is terribly necessary, that Thunderbird can display the addresses of all senders, known and unknown. I would be grateful, if that problem would be finally solved! It should work whithout addon, as it did some years ago! And please remark: Your advice to uncheck the box at "show only display name for people in my addressbook" doesn't work!!! Never!
