About two weeks ago the WSJ crosswords stopped working in FF56.0.2. The program comes up on the screen ok, but it will not accept any inputs from the keyboard. When I type a letter, a blank still appears in the puzzle. Sometimes it will accept a few letters that I type, but soon it stops accepting any letters.

Up until two weeks ago the WSJ crossword worked just fine on my FF56.

This problem does not happen with Chrome or Opera.

I have not updated to FF 64.0.2 because some of my add-ons are not compatible with it.

Unfortunately since that is a outdated and unsupported version help will be hard to do.

Thank you for your reply. Indeed, at some point I'll upgrade to FF64, but in the meantime I have to use Chrome, which I don't particularly care for.

So what is the link you used then?

Tried the link and went to cross word puzzle and test the latest one and just type AAAA in on row to test and it works. Using FF64.0.2x64 Windows 10 pro

I tested it in Firefox 52 ESR and it works fine.
