The messages / emails in my thread pane on my sent folder can't be seen, but when you click on the empty space, the content of the email appears below in the message pane. This happened with another folder recently. I copied the emails, created a new folder (with a slightly different name) and when I dragged the emails to the new folder, I could once again see both the thread pane and the message pane. Now this has happened again, I have copied all the content of my sent folder, and created a "sent history" file, and once again, I can see both panes in the new folder. But I don't want to delete my sent folder, as I assume that is essential, and not just a personal folder like the previous one. As new messages build up now in the Sent folder, the same problem occurs. By the way, I have re-installed Thunderbird, and this did not solve the problem. I have opened with add ons disabled, and that did not solve the problem. I love thunderbird, but this is driving me nutso. Please help!

The 'invisible' list of emails can be refreshed and made visible by doing the following: select the 'Sent' folder to show the 'invisible' list. click on the 'select columns to display' icon' - it is located far right of the column headers eg: From, Subject, Date From drop down options select: 'Reset columns to default'
