my windows defender removed my js agent and my games slow down, freeze up, saying js needs debugging. i have version 42 firefox and it keeps telling me i need to udate my browser and update my pulg-ins. the browser takes over a minute to load and it says that firefox is running to slow. i have went from windows 8.1 to 10. i uninstalled 42 and reinstalled it from mozilla.com but it still has it down as 36 but if you go into the help of about firefox it says 42.

Your System Details shows; Windows 8.1 Firefox 36.04

Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link} Save the file. Then;

Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.

Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.

Look for, and rename any Mozilla or Firefox folders by adding .old to them.

After rebooting the computer, run a registry scanner. Then run the installer. If all goes well, remove the OLD folders when you are done.

Separate Issue; Your System Details shows;

Installed Plug-ins

Shockwave Flash 19.0 r0 Shockwave Flash 14.0 r0
Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Note: Edge on Win10 does not use ActiveX version but its own Flash.

Flash: Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac

Then reinstall the latest version.

Flash Player Version 19.0.0.245
https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
Note: Windows users should download the ‘’’active_x’’’ for “Internet Explorer,” and the ‘’’plugin’’’ for “Plugin-based browsers” (like Firefox).

Adobe still offers Flash 18.0.0.255 as its extended support release further down

Your useragent shows as Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; rv:36.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/36.04 in More System Details on right of post.

This is not a valid useragent as the version then was 36.0.4 and not 36.04 as it is missing a . between 0 and 4 so this means it was overridden with a modified useragent.
