After the new update my bookmarks are above the address bar - how to restore them as they were before? Below the address bar.

Chosen solution

Hi, try opening the 3-bar menu > Customize, then see if you can drag the bookmarks bar to its correct position, > Exit Customize to save. Alternatively, try - right click in the tab bar - but not on a tab, and untick/uncheck Bookmarks Bar, then tick/check it again.

Hope one of those works.

When I opened it, it was how I wanted it to be - no need to change. So I clicked Exit customization and it was as before. Thank you so much!

If you keep having problems like this then try this code in the userChrome.css file.

Add code to the userChrome.css file below the default @namespace line.

@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

#navigator-toolbox toolbar:not(#nav-bar):not(#toolbar-menubar) { -moz-box-ordinal-group:10 !important }

/* you can use this to have the tabs on bottom by removing the comment code */
/* #TabsToolbar { -moz-box-ordinal-group:1000 !important; } */

The customization files userChrome.css (user interface) and userContent.css (websites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.

The problem came again and I disabled one of my addons - Tabs on Bottom 0.5 and it haven't come back after I did that. I guess the addon doesnt support the new version.
