Back button is now broken

I have to face the facts, the new Firefox is worse than IE. It just sucks, I know that's mean, but I'm being honest.

For example, the back button....I search google, click a result, try to click back so I can click the next result but I can't, no Fing active back button. Firefox worked yesterday and now like Windows Vista and Windows 8 combined, totally broken.

I'm confused your having no Back button. By default, it's attached to the left end of the address bar.

Or do you mean the button is there but it's grayed out? That could happen if your result was opened in a new tab. There is an option in Google's search settings to launch results in a new window, which Firefox diverts to a new tab. Can you find your results page in a different tab?
