Why does it take time to reload the page when the device unlocked or when restored?
Firefox takes time to reload the page when you unlocked the device (Samsung Galaxy S3) after it was locked. Also when the firefox is restored after it was minimized. My previous phone (Nokia X6) did not had this problem with Opera Mini and always there was the page I last visited stabley on the device when it is unlocked or restored.

Android has a task killer that will close programs in the background. The delay is Firefox restarting all the bits required to display a web page. It should not be more than a second or so.
Some extensions are known to significantly affect startup/restart performance such as AdBlockPlus it is known to change a phone from a 1 sec start to 10 or more seconds. Older versions of LastPass such as version 2 can also slow Firefox down. Version 3 should be better https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php
Hi Gayan512, Application management and wifi connection settings are not in the control of Firefox for Android, so this is a tricky question. Please do a few tests:
- do you notice a difference in different wifi connections, different 4g strength?
- If you remove the app data does the speed change?
- If you clear the cache do you notice a difference after you lock the screen?
- Does this happen when the connection changes?
In order to better assist you can you please provide the following information: What web page are you trying to load? What version of android does the S3 have? What kind of connection do you notice this in?
Happy to investigate with more details :-)
