I can see Flash videos from Youtube etc, but not from finewoodworking.com.
I can see Flash videos from Youtube etc, but I can't see the videos from finewoodworking.com. I've checked with the Adobe Flash site and I'm up to date and my Flash Player is working correctly. After I sign in to Finewoodworking.com, I should be able to view a video I select, but I get no video. Taunton Press (site owners) suggest I have a security setting wrong.
Any suggestions please ?
Robert.

Do you have any security-related extensions such as NoScript or Google Disconnect? You can check what you have installed here:
orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Add-ons
On the left, click Extensions.
You can copy and paste the list of all your extensions from here:
Help > Troubleshooting Information
Thanks.
I don't appear to have either No Script or Google Dsconnect.
Here's my trouble shooting information:

I've deleted everything referring to my printer to get this down to acceptable size.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
Thank you.
Having started in safe mode with the addons disabled, I can see the video (after signing in).
How do I identify the offending addon, if it is that ?
Regards,
Robert.
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
- Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
- Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
I've followed that and found "Do Not Track Plus 2.05" was the culprit.
I've removed it and all is fine now.
Thank you very much !
Regards,
Robert.
