Thank you for the information. This was quick and easy enough, but I don't see any change in the bookmarks or passwords. And to think I'm a 30+ year computer user. This is getting too complex and I have more trouble than I used to. I think my brain is full and new info comes in my ears or eyes and dribbles back out.

After the profile folder is opened, exit Firefox. For the bookmarks and history you have to overwrite the '''places.sqlite''' file in this folder with the same file from the backup. For the passwords it would be '''key3.db''' + '''signons.sqlite'''.
