I keep getting in my start menu another instance of Firefox to select from which references the pornhub site, which I have never consciously gone to. How do I permanently unpin this instance from my start menu?

I have the usual "Mozilla Firefox" menu item, with frequent web sites listed, in my Windows 7 Start menu. But very often another Mozilla Firefox item/instance appears in my Start menu which references the pornhub website. I have never consciously gone to this site and have NO desire to see it listed in my Start menu. How can I permanently unpin or disable this?

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Thanks for your suggestions. A friend also checked this out and edited some firefox startup file so it no longer appears. Thanks again!
