I just downloaded Firefox 5 and I'm not impressed at all with this bloated POC. You changed up the layout like IE, which sucks balls. Anyways, I just installed Chrome to see if I like it better and I am having problems exporting my bookmarks from Firefox 5. The page you have showing how to export bookmarks shows a choice that's not present in my version of Firefox. So how the hell do I export bookmarks in HTML on Firefox 5?

BTW, I much prefer Firefox 3.5.6, which I was using until I upgraded to Snow Leopard this morning.

First, the menu choice changed from Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks to Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks.

Second, it takes moments to change the tabs, menus and toolbars around, if that's what you don't like.

Third, 3.5.6 was an insecure version, but you can use 3.6.18. It's available here: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older

The issue is more of a menu problem. After you hit, "Show All Bookmarks" -- you need the "Import and Backup" button, in order to export (love it). The last option under Import and Backup is "Export HTML..." This works the same on Mac and PC.

This issue with Firefox 5, along with the issue of "unsupported plugins" that were supported in previous versions of Firefox: Is it any surprise users are going to other browsers?
