How do I access a web site when your suggested security SW changes don't work?
Suddenly unable to access certain web sites (Schwab.com) that was never a problem until this past week. I use McAfee as my security suite and followed the suggested changes to ensure that Firefox is a listed program. McAfee suggests suggested changes (change designated ports to "all devices" and ensure that in going & out going is checked. After making the changes I am still unable to access the site. I am at a loss as to what to do next since the suggested action assume that will solve the problem...which it didn't. As an alternative, I removed the program (firefox) from the list of programs purportedly granted permission for access by the firewall, re-booted, and then added the program back with permission by the firewall. Again, no luck. I am open to other ideas that may help.

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? Error messages?
Not much more to add than what is described initially. You should have also received the associated tech info.
When I type the URL for Schwab.com Firefox shows the address in the url site bar but doesn't appear to load - it appears frozen, no action. I experienced this before shortly after firefox upgraded to its latest version (58). I followed the recommended action from MacAfee - changed the program setting from "designated port" to "all devices" and that seemed to work until very recently.
However, this time when I checked the firewall program firefox was listed as accessible with permissions, and continued to show "all devices" as previously changed so there was nothing to change. MacAfee provides no further guidance when you follow their instructions but they do not solve the problem. Hence, this request for assistance.
