After I updated Firefox 36 to 37.0.1 it uses a high percentage of CPU and it's slow and opens advertisement pages and pop-ups. I didn't install any add-ons.
Today I opened Firefox 36 and saw that there's and update. I updated it to version 37.0.1. After I restarted the browser, I realized that it works very slow and opens an Advertisement pop-up with this address: http://offers.bycontext.com/scjs/tb/ctxjs/index.php?kw2=www.softgozar.com&affid=1145&subaff_id=888888000000000000&intformat=roll&nextpage=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.softgozar.com%2FWebPage%2FSoftwareDescription.aspx%3FSoftwareId%3D21%26Title%3DMozilla-Firefox-3701-Farsi-Cyberfox-3701-x64-Waterfox-3604-x64&ch=6801&sbrand=name&folder=v6.5.1&typrd=ctx&cu=31661&country=WW&original_country= It's really annoying. I didn't install any untrusted add-ons and my Firefox always updates itself from Mozilla. Please help. I really need it. Thanks.

Hello , sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus built-in already.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
also, delete in your profile folder the User.js file you have.
The user.js file does not exist by default. If you create the file, forget it, if you have not create the file then delete the User.js file, to see if the problem goes away (some programs create and write in the file also).
thank you
