ubuntu 14.04 came with ff ver 28 . i went to the mozilla page to try and download 29.01 but when i hit the download button it said i had the latest version installed.
maybe an issue between 29 and ubuntu???
Its not issue, Ubuntu Options always available under the Edit Menu
